We are authorized sales and service partner of Oxymat A/S in Nepal.
Oxymat is a Danish based company is specialized in designing and manufacturing of on-site medical oxygen generators using Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology. They have been manufacturing oxygen generators since 1978 and they posses first-hand knowledge of the market, developments, demands and possibilities that PSA technology holds.
They are headquartered just north of Copenhagen, Denmark and have several employees working in manufacturing locations in Denmark and Slovakia. Oxymat customers are global and they have strong service back-up.
Oxymat standard generator systems are available in nearly several standard models, and they cover oxygen flowrates from 0,6 to 322 m³/hr.
PSA Oxygen & Nitrogen Generator Systems
- Oxymat A/S uses two columns system having molecular sieves which ensure smooth & continuous production.
- Dry compressed air is blown through a valve to the vessel where the pressure is built to reach 5 to 7 bar(g). Nitrogen is tied to a molecular sieve during the building of pressure, and the oxygen is allowed to pass through to the accumulation tank.
- While pressure is build in one vessel, the second remains without pressure.
- A part of the produced gas is used for regeneration of the molecular sieve.
- For Oxygen, Zeolite type 13X is used. The molecular sieve is fully regenerative and has a life span on to 40.000 operation hours.
The entire PSA system can be subdivided into the following:
- Compressed air system (Air compressor, Refrigeration dryer, Air receiver & Filters).
- PSA skid
- Oxygen receiver
- Oxygen boosting & Filling Station (optional)
- Panel Display with electro galvanized sensor
- Touch Screen with zirconium sensor
- GSM modem for touch Screen
- Medical upgrade kit (Coalescing tower and bacterial filtration)
For decades Oxymat has been the preferred oxygen supplier to all major fish farms within recirculation technology.

Professional aquaculture engineering
Ozone is a highly effective method for bacteriological treatment and useful in a variety of everyday situations from removing odor to ensuring clean, high quality drinking water from the tap.
But O3 is more than just effective. It is also environmentally safe, which makes it highly suitable for treating water in enormous quantities; both drinking water and industrial waste water, i.e. in industrial slaughterhouses.
At Oxymat, we offer oxygen feed gas plants for Ozone. Feed gas plants are highly cost effective and low in energy use. You can expect reduction in your energy consumption with up to 30%.
While the bulk of our generators are used in marine, oil & gas, medical and aquaculture industries, we serve many other interesting sectors.
Oxygen based generators, for instance, are used in areas ranging from glass work, mining and ozone treatment to steel and metal cutting, led and waste water treatment.
The range of use for nitrogen generators is just as wide ranging from petro chemical and oil industry to electronics and food and beverage.
Oxymat products can be found in all corners of the world, from Asia, Africa and Australia to South America and Europe. We are always up to the challenge when faced with a plant need requiring an out-of-the-box solution.
We have solved tasks ranging from Field Hospital Filling Stations for NATO and Swedish Nuclear Power Stations.
In addition to our PSA product line, we also serve various industries with Oxygen related products, such as Oxygen Concentrators, Oxygen Monitor and Control Systems, Oxygen Injectors (Cones), Oxygen Diffusers and much more.
|D) Petrochem & Oil refineries
Fire and explosions are a constant treat to safety within these industries. Letting generators produce the right purity and amount of N2, purging and blanketing of various types of tanks and pipes take care of the safety by creating a non flammable environment. A great number of other applications for both N2 as well as O2 will be found within these
|E) Food & Beverage
Nitrogen protection is a tremendous cost saver in processing and packaging as it prevents bacterial growth, extend shelf life, preserve freshness and suppress odors.
|F) Laser cutting
Laser cutting with N2 and O2 will normally require high flow rates combined with relatively high purity and pressure, to ensure a clean cut. Our tailor-made solutions take you into a new era without inconvenient external gas supply.
High Purity nitrogen protects the soldering processes from oxidation, and leaves a clean, durable solder point resulting in increased product quality. Oxymat technology put you in the front seat when combining high-quality nitrogen demand and low production cost.
Injecting oxygen into treatment basins significantly increase bacteriological survival and regeneration.
Demand for oxygen generators in the medical field is growing rapidly. Stricter international medical regulations is also putting a tougher demand onoxygen plants for flow, pressure and purity monitoring.
Solutions oriented approach
Oxymat is the only manufacturer able to reach outlet pressure up to 10 barG. We can provide a tailor-made solution that fits your exact needs; i.e. skid mounting, GSM modem, remote operating and monitoring. Other parameters can be measured on request, such as hydrocarbons, CO, CO2 and dew point. But most importantly, you get a constant source of oxygen produced at the hospital, so that it is available where and when it is needed.
Safety first – always
Oxymat can design and install a medical oxygen generating system with all its proper capabilities, monitoring and alarm system to reflect your local safety requirements.
The unit is equipped with touch controller for easy access and automatically calls alarms and switch to back up supply when malfunctioning occurs. Our oxygen generating systems are designed for 24 hour, 365 days per year operation Cylinder filling back up provides safe delivery of Oxygen to hospital pipeline system. And you are no longer dependent on unstable deliveries and fluctuating gas prices.
Guaranteed lower operating cost
Investing in an oxygen system is quickly earned in savings. The average oxygen production cost is 1.2 kWh per cubic meter of oxygen produced and pay off from most models is earned within the first months of operating.
Knowing industry regulations Oxymat oxygen generators are produced in accordance with MDD (medical device directive), PED (pressure equipment directive) and are CE medical certified. Our generators also comply with ISO 10083.
The Oxymat medical sale team is ready to consult each project with you to assure successful installation of the system. And our service department will make sure that your system is always in top condition.
|J) Marine, Oil and Gas
Marine conditions pose a number of challenges and issues. Size, weight, rough sea conditions, corrosion, high temperatures, cargo needing protection, just to name a few. Oxymat’s Marine, Oil & Gas division produces nitrogen PSA generator systems to the marine industry with the necessary experience and know-how to address these issues. Compared to a traditional membrane based system, PSA systems significantly decrease redundancy and can cut energy consumption with up to 30%. In addition, a PSA system can produce 5% or lower oxygen levels.
With the highest quality in components, PSA systems are extremely reliable with at least 48.000 running hours before CMS replacement is needed. Types of plants Our new X4 nitrogen generator series is based on PSA technology. The construction of the X4 series is characterized by simple construction and high reliability and the system can be adjusted to the given space on board.
Types of carriers

Easy and quick assembly
The X4 nitrogen generators consist of small parts that can easily be taken apart and sent out to a ship wherever it is. A service engineer can install it during the ship’s voyage, contrary to most competing systems where installation requires shipyard docking of 2-3 weeks. We have service stations in Singapore, Athens, Copenhagen and Istanbul. In addition, our highly trained marine specialists travel world wide at short notice, to trouble shoot technical problems on board.
